Practical Nursing

Nurse holding hands of elderly man in bedWhen you’re getting ready towards the nursing career, Practical Nursing is your ideal baby steps. Practical nurses are trained to perform basic nursing care with supervision from a Registered Nurse. As practical nursing is more focused on skills equipment, they can be completed earlier than the RN, thus preparing the graduate for a more hands-on professional experience in the field. When you want to become a Registered Nurse but you want to gain further field experience first, Practical Nursing is for you.

At Renaissance Health Institute, our Practical Nursing programs and curriculums include legal and ethical responsibilities, communication and interpersonal skills, administrative and clinical duties, healthcare concepts, emergency procedures including CPR, safety and security procedures, Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, geriatrics, pediatrics, Maternity & Newborn, and medical-surgical nursing. Classroom and clinical experience is incorporated into the curriculum.

We also have highly qualified training team composed of 4 APRNs and 2 Medical Doctors who are ready to extend quality education in this program.

Classes will start soon. Contact us for inquiries.
